Kiruna 2018-08-11 partiell. Partly cloudy, but we chased it so we could see it.
That was a chasers eclipse. Jay Pasachoff was supposed to come with us, but he stayed in Stockholm, so only his friends came with us. The clouds threatened to hide the eclipse, but I had the wheel, and was determined to chase. At one point I made a U-turn on the highway E10 to chase clear sky. We saw the eclipse outside Abisko and managed to take good photographs.

We observed that from the molo outside the Limhamn Marina while enjoying the sunset, coffee and waffels. The sky was clear, without a cloud.
